For regular legal support and guidance, together with bespoke legal documentation as relevant for your business for an agreed budget and predictable pricing, choose Legal Subscription.

If you want all of the benefits of Legal Subscription, plus embedded senior counsel to drive strategic legal risk management and growth, including the establishment of legal operations or recruitment of your first in-house hire, Fractional GC is best.

It is unlikley that you will need to upgrade your Legal Subscription to Fractional GC before the expiry of your initial 12 month term, on the basis that Your Legal Scorecard and Audit will determine the most suitable 12 month plan for your business.

Nonetheless, should your business grow beyond expectations within the first 12 months, or if your legal requirements shift, we will reassess your business needs and determine how to tailor your plan to fit your revised needs and adjust pricing accordingly.

Yes, both include drafting and reviewing necessary legal documents and agreements tailored for your particular business, reducing the need for external legal fees.

Legal Subscription does not include the review of third party documents, preparation and drafting of specialist documentation that falls outside of your usual business requirements, or negotiating third party agreements. 

Fractional GC is a fully comprehensive service.

We aim to communicate clearly and promptly across all engagements, with response times proportionate to the nature, scope, and urgency of the work agreed.

For Consulting engagements, timelines are agreed as part of the fixed-fee scope at the outset.

For Legal Subscription and Fractional GC clients, responsiveness and prioritisation form part of the ongoing service, aligned to the needs of the business and the matters in progress.

Fractional GC clients get dedicated, strategic legal leadership embedded in their business, working alongside your team on complex deals, negotiations, compliance, and risk management to drive business objectives. It may also include assistance establishing legal systems and processes, including adoption of legal tech and AI tools, preparing for eventual full-time in-house counsel hire, or establishing your legal operations

The level of involvement is tailored and reflective of your business needs.

An agreed scope of services follows completion of Your Legal Scorecard assessment and Audit.

Please note that due to the level of service provided, there is currently limited availability of Fractional GC services in order to enable us to maintain the high quality standards for our clients. In the event that there is no availability for Fractional GC services within any 12 month period, rest assured you will be notified in advance of us undertaking any Audit for you. 

For Subscription and Fractional GC plans, we start with Your Legal Scorecard, which you are invited to complete and submit. It is quick, painless and free!

After receipt of Your Legal Scorecard, we assess the results and if appropriate we will arrange an initial no charge/no obligation consultation with you.

Following our consultation, we may then agree the scope, cost, and terms of a Legal Audit—with no commitment beyond the Audit itself.

Once Audit terms are agreed and payment is received, we will complete the Audit within an agreed timeframe.

We map your current legal needs and gaps, then as relevant we tailor an appropriate plan and business terms accordingly. We provide the Audit to you together with our recommendations, including to what extent a particular plan is suitable for your business.

A final consultation is then held with you should you have any further questions or requirements prior to the completion and signing of relevant business terms.

No. We emphasise transparent fixed fee pricing with no hidden costs. Additional services outside your plan are discussed and agreed upon upfront.

We do not undertake any work until and unless we have your written agreement and instructions to do so.

Third party costs and disbursements are not included, and are additional to any instruction. Should such costs be contemplated these will be agreed with you in advance before your incur risk of payment.

We are a legal consultancy and not regulated or authorised by the SRA. Therefore we do not undertake any reserved activities or services, such as litigation before the courts.

Should you require such services, we may be able to assist with guiding your procurement of a suitably qualified and experienced professional. However, it may be in your best interests for us not to do so, and we will not provide such guidance should it compromise your legal position. Such ‘guidance’ shall not constitute legal advice in any event.

Where identified within your plan, we coordinate with your other professional advisors, including lawyers, counsel, and patent attorneys when needed to provide a seamless, efficient legal ecosystem, avoiding duplication and ensuring clarity in roles and responsibilities.

Where such matters are not included within your plan, we will seek to support you as reasonably expected, and if necessary agree a fixed fee for ongoing projects or needs.
